You may have noticed that there is now a link from the Gundog Club to The Labrador Site.
The Labrador Site is a new website designed by Gundog Club founder Pippa Mattinson, to provide a useful resource for Labrador Owners worldwide.
Our research has shown us that many Labrador owners do not know that their dog is a ‘gundog’, or do not feel that the word ‘gundog’ applies to their dog because they are not interested in shooting.
The Labrador Retriever is the most popular gundog in the world and the Gundog Club hopes that The Labrador Site will be successful in promoting the benefits of Gundog Training to a wider audience.
The Labrador Site will be encouraging and supporting the work of the Gundog Club, the Gundog Trust, and other appropriate organisations, in promoting the benefits of gundog fieldwork for Labradors and their owners, and in raising standards in gundog instruction, training, and welfare.
It will also be offering a unique source of reference, training advice, healthcare information and much more, to the wider pet Labrador owning community.
