Jules Morgan has been a professional dog training instructor since 1993, and has built an excellent reputation for good quality, kind, reward based methods of training.
This methodology is supported by an in-depth knowledge of learning theory for both dogs and humans, together with a very broad experience of contact teaching and resolving behavioural problems.
Dog Training Qualifications
Jules is a member of the APDT (The Association of Pet Dog Trainers) and of the Kennel Club’s Accredited Instructor Scheme, working towards accreditation and adhere to the Codes of Practice for both organisations.
She continues to study and explore all things canine-related, and has developed and employs training techniques that are choice based, positive and ethical – without losing the accuracy and drive that is often so desirable in the home, competitive or shooting arena.
Gundog Experience
Jules has a passion for working and training gundogs, and a wealth of experience in all aspects of lowland shooting from large estates through to small farm shoots and rough shooting.
With many years of practical involvement in beating, picking up, shooting, shoot management, working tests, etc., she has a great deal of knowledge to be shared.
Jules has successfully instructed clients for competitive gundog work, judged working tests and undertaken field trial management training.
She is a co-founder of The Leconfield Working Spaniel Club, has organised The Kennel Club’s Working Gundog Certificate and can offer personal on-shoot coaching for new gundog handlers.
She is also a member of BASC and holds the Lantra Shooting Assistant/Loader Certificate.
New Students
Jules loves hearing from new Gundog Club students, and helping them and their dogs to reach their potential.
