The first candidates to enter their Grade Two
Hunting Retriever Tests have passed with flying colours.
Congratulations to handlers Mike Smith and Lisa Allen
who bravely
entered their spaniels for both the Grade One and Grade Two tests on
the same day.
Cocker Spaniel 'Kali' and Springer
Spaniel 'JJ' both scored highly in the tests overall with one year
old 'Kali' attaining an exceptional score and dropping only one
point on each test. |

Mike, Lisa and the
two dogs thoroughly enjoyed their test and found Annie
both thorough in her assessments and very
encouraging on those few areas where the dogs lost
marks. They are now looking forward to, and
training towards, Grade Three. Gloucester
trainer Annie Wales has now carried out several
Gundog Club assessments and commented particularly on the high standard
of hunting displayed by both these keen young dogs.
